About the founder: Tina Klideris

From Vision to Creation…

Tina Klideris materializes her visions and brings them to life. In 1998, at the early age of 21, she began utilizing her determination to create quality products and services. After attending esthetics school at Christine Valmy in NYC, Tina created a private label makeup company. She opened up a kiosk at a mall where her clients created their own custom-blend lipsticks and cosmetics. The key was to give customers what they wanted—a voice in designing their product. She named her company Artemix, after Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, the wild, and the moon.

Tina explored several strategies to raise her start-up company to new levels. She gave free temporary tattoos to children that would shop with their mothers. This idea not only raised sales, but spun into Artemix Entertainment, a 3 million dollar entertainment company. She started airbrushing tattoos at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16’s, celebrity parties in the Hamptons and private penthouses in Manhattan. Top corporations utilized her services for holiday parties, benefits, and product launches. The entertainment sector grew from body art to airbrushed apparel and by 2004 her company was featured in US Weekly magazine.

Artemix Entertainment started with Tina and one artist, and has now grown to a team of 60 artists servicing over 200 event planners, and performing their craft at more than 600 parties a year.

Tina has enjoyed her success both professionally and personally. She is now happily married and cherishes Gregory, her three-year old son. Tina started designing clothing for her son, and thus Artemix Fashion was created. She used organic t-shirts, and airbrushed with non-toxic paint to ensure safety. Always looking to move forward, Tina looked to partner up with other American artists. Most of all, she wanted an artist with a distinct urban style and a hip funky flare.

From vision to creation, Artemix Fashion continues to develop new products. The Artemix Fashion line will be available in high-end retail specialty boutiques and for wholesale distribution. Through the quality of art that is unsurpassed, Artemix raises the standard of their services to new and innovative levels.
